Where ctioga is lagging behind…
Here, you will find various features of gnuplot which are either
not implementable
in ctioga,
hard to implement, or simply
not implemented yet.
NB this list is not complete yet ! (not that it ever will)
Gnuplot features that cannot be implemented in ctioga
Gnuplot is an interactive program. ctioga is not. Following that,
there are few things that will always be missing from ctioga:
ctiogawill never fit data to models. Fits are by essence interactive.- similarly, there will never be a user interface for zooming and pointing.
Hard to implement gnuplot features
ctiogacurrently has no support for 3D graphs at all, because Tioga has a limited support for 3D and backends that read 3D data have not been implemented yet. This has been required, but it will take a lot of time. Contributions welcome !
Features not yet implemented in ctioga
Features in this list are planned for implementation in a more-or-less
close future, only time is lacking. This list is a loose partial
TODO-list for ctioga.
