Ctioga
Ctioga is a powerful command-line plotting system written in Ruby. It has been designed to make rapidly publication-quality graphes. It is based on the wonderful work by Bill Paxton, Tioga.
It is open source, which means you can modify it if you like, and it is completely free to use. See here for the reasons why you should use ctioga. You also definitely should have a look at its features, or the graphical feature list
On this site, you will find
- How to download and install the Ctioga program.
- A tutorial showing how to use ctioga, and quite a fair amount of its capacities.
- A FAQ where you can look in case you’re stuck somewhere.
- ctioga’s gallery : a gallery where you can find real-life examples of ctioga’s use.
- a demo gallery showing selected examples from
ctioga’s documentation - some examples of use of ctable
- ctioga’s manual page
- ctable’s manual page
- ctioga’s documentation: essentially lots of examples,
covering basically all
ctioga’s features - a small fight ctioga against gnuplot
- links to other plotting programs
We hope that you will find this program useful. If you need help about installation or use, you can use the forum. We would also be glad to hear about inaccuracies in these web pages there as well.
